The space is gorgeous and well maintained, the staff are lovely and helpful, the cafe has delicious food and tasty local drinks, and you can’t beat the fresh air and ocean views. A great addition to the Annapolis Valley! Deborah Nicholson2025-02-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you June and Jenny for creating this true gem of body sensory relaxation and pampering here in The Valley. We tried out every experience on our own for this first visit - even the cold bucket showers! Twice! We'll be back for some guided experiences very soon. The staff were friendly, calm and helpful and even remembered our names, although there were many other people there. Every detail is attended to and all the experiences are well thought out. Very clean, very efficient. Glorious view! Nothing like floating in a hot pool surrounded by snow! jeffrey richard2025-02-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went with a couple girlfriends this past week and overall had a really nice experience at Saltair. It was very clean, the main sauna and steam room are spacious, and the outdoor wood sauna and hot tubs have a beautiful view of Cape Split. The Aveda products available in the relaxation rooms were a nice touch, and the mud masks, hot towels, facial rollers, and hot stones were a highlight. Some tips for those visiting for the first time, especially in winter; The views from the facility are breathtaking, but it’s very exposed, so be prepared for wind. They provide towels, but they’re the light cotton kind. Since it was cold and windy when we were there, they got wet fast and froze quickly which made for unpleasant, cold, wet robes toward the end. You might want to pack an extra towel for your shower at the end so you can save the spa towels for your circuit. Take a wet bag for your bathing suit. There are no suit dryers. Also, be careful on your drive in and out. When we went, the road was very icy in spots. I think they may have been a bit overbooked on the day we visited. A large group was coming in as a few groups were leaving and it caused some congestion in the lobby and small change room. I assume this was just due to the scheduling that day. Otherwise, we had no problem accessing all the amenities despite one of the hot tubs being closed. I would definitely go again with these things in mind. I attended one of their classes on self-care last week. Even though it was the first time they did that particular class, the instructors were well-prepared with tools, oils and salt scrubs for us to use. Their words and the music fit really well together. It was impressive. Thank you! Katie Cyr2025-02-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An incredible experience! I’ve done many Nordic spas and this was a top for me. Extremely clean, organized, relaxing and thoughtful touches like complimentary Aveda products, face masks, scrubs, tea & cozy towels. The special 1 hour “relaxation” sauna workshop was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub and hearing the waves and silence was amazing.
